How To Thank The Bus Driver in Fortnite

Fortnite players are tasked with performing something extremely easy this time: thanking the bus driver in 11 separate matches. The goal for yesterday was to land stunts at ten distinct Named Locations. The day before, I was supposed to dance in front of nine different Christmas trees (see a map of Holiday Tree locations here) Each day, the amount of items necessary to complete a challenge has grown to correspond with that day in the 14 Days of Fortnite, which means we’ll need to accomplish 12 of something tomorrow.

It’s simple to thank the bus driver in Fortnite, but not everyone knows how, so here’s a brief tutorial:

• Simply push down on the D-Pad while on the Battle Bus on the PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch. That’s the lowest left-hand button on your controller. Your gamertag will appear on the screen, followed by “thanked the bus driver.” We know he (or she) appreciates it even if he never says “You’re welcome.”
• Simply hit the “B” key on a PC.
• While on the bus, you’ll see a symbol on your mobile device. Tap it to express gratitude to the bus driver.
